How to Identify a Pseudoscience

I am putting this down here from thoughtco.com based on not only what is listed in this article, but the COVID discussion where one side suppresses all research and evidence to ensure an agenda. Can you see the signs of this after reading this article?

A pseudoscience is a fake science that makes claims based on faulty or nonexistent scientific evidence. In most cases, these pseudosciences present claims in a way that makes them seem possible, but with little or no empirical support for these claims.

Graphology, numerology, and astrology, are all examples of pseudosciences. In many cases, these pseudosciences rely on anecdotes and testimonials to back up their often outlandish claims.

How to Identify Science vs. Pseudoscience

If you are trying to determine if something is a pseudoscience, there are a few key things you can look for:

1. Consider the purpose. Science is focused on helping people develop a deeper, richer and fuller understanding of the world. Pseudoscience often focuses on furthering some type of ideological agenda.

2. Consider how challenges are dealt with. Science welcomes challenges and attempts to disprove or refute different ideas. Pseudoscience, on the other hand, tends to greet any challenges to its dogma with hostility.

3. Look at the research. Science is supported by a deep and ever-growing body of knowledge and research. Ideas around the topic may have changed over time as new things are discovered and new research is performed. Pseudoscience tends to be fairly static. Little may have changed since the idea was first introduced and new research might not exist.

4. Can it be proven false? Falsifiability is a key hallmark of science. This means that if something is false, researchers could prove that it was false. Many pseudoscientific claims are simply untestable, so there is no way for researchers to prove these claims false.

Example

Phrenology is a good example of how a pseudoscience can capture the public attention and become popular. According to the ideas behind phrenology, bumps on the head were thought to reveal aspects of an individual's personality and character. Physician Franz Gall first introduced the idea during the late 1700s and suggested that the bumps on a person's head corresponded to the physical features of the brain's cortex.

Gall studied the skulls of individuals in hospitals, prisons, and asylums and developed a system of diagnosing different characteristics based upon the bumps of a person's skull. His system included 27 "faculties" that he believed directly corresponded to certain parts of the head.

Like other pseudosciences, Gall's research methods lacked scientific rigor. Not only that, any contradictions to his claims were simply ignored. Gall's ideas outlived him and grew wildly popular during the 1800s and 1900s, often as a form of popular entertainment. There were even phrenology machines that would be placed over a person's head. Spring-loaded probes would then provide a measurement of different parts of the skull and calculate the individual's characteristics.

While phrenology was eventually dismissed as a pseudoscience, it did have an important influence on the development of modern neurology. Gall’s idea that certain capabilities were linked to certain parts of the brain led to a growing interest in the idea brain localization, or the notion that certain functions were linked to specific areas of the brain. Further research and observations helped researchers gain a greater understanding of how the brain is organized and the functions of different areas of the brain.

Now note the four points noted above and ask yourself have you seen the other research by medical experts that oppose the findings of the other side? The answer sadly is no unless you really dig and go to sites that does not censor opposing views like MeWe and Gab. Then you will find peer reviewed Medical research that challenges the CDC and the others who say they are following the Science. You see how the CDC, mainstream media, social media is dealing with how challenges are dealt with with the COVID agenda by suppressing them or censoring them out of existent. So ask yourself is this COVID approach by the CDC and others really Science when they suppress and censor other medical findings?

How many of you actually look at the research on both sides? Have you read the perspective or Dr. Robert Malone the creator of the mRNA technology, or the director of the Pathological Institute of the University of Heidelberg, Peter Schirmacher who is warning that the COVID-19 vaccine and have expressed alarm over his findings from people who taken the second shot two weeks after and died.

Consider even many Universities around the world have noted the following:

"EVIDENCE SUMMARY

There are no specific guidelines for use of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines or contraindications to mRNA vaccines.

No large trials of any mRNA vaccine have been completed yet.

The only evidence on safety of mRNA vaccines comes from small phase I and phase II trials of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, with
follow-up typically less than two months.

Systemic adverse events such as fatigue, muscle aches, headache, and chills are common.

Severe systemic adverse events were reported by 5 to 10 percent of trial subjects.

Localized adverse events such as pain at the injection side are common.

Both systemic and local adverse events usually are resolved within one or two days.

The rate and severity of adverse events appears to be higher for the second dose of vaccine than for the first.

Higher vaccine doses appear to increase the rate and severity of adverse events.

Larger trials of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines are in progress, with results expected in mid-2021.

There is not sufficient evidence to support any conclusions on the comparative safety of different mRNA vaccines.

Direct evidence on the comparative safety of mRNA vaccines and other vaccines is lacking."

The above is from the University of Pennsylvania, but there are many others with the same findings. So ask yourself about not only the COVID vaccine, but other Science that is being pushed by the Government and the mainstream media and look at the five points above and ask yourself is this pseudoscience or actual Science?

Scientists Are Now Using Sound Waves to Regrow Bone Tissue

I have lost a lot of faith with the Medical Community and the Governments over the last several years, but there are a few good things that can raise above the corruption and the pushing of drugs a new approach to heal people. The following is from www.gaia.com and written by Hunter Parsons that does not involve any drug or pushing an ineffective so called vaccine that the drug company is not held accountable in any way but they use sound! The use of sound can regrow bone tissue! Here is the story:

"The future of regenerative medicine could be found within sound healing by regrowing bone cells with sound waves.

The use of sound as a healing modality has an ancient tradition all over the world. The ancient Greeks used sound to cure mental disorders; Australian Aborigines reportedly use the didgeridoo to heal; and Tibetan or Himalayan singing bowls were, and still are, used for spiritual healing ceremonies.

Recently, a study showed an hour-long sound bowl meditation reduced anger, fatigue, anxiety, and ...

Defense Agency Studying Anti-Gravity, Other ‘Exotic Tech’

Not a fan of a Defense Agency studying Anti-Gravity and other Exotic Tech, but if the commercial world and make this technology cheap that will change our world yet again. The following is about three minute read and from www.gaia.com. The below was written by Hunter Parsons:

"Wormholes, invisibility cloaks, and anti-gravity — it’s not science fiction, it’s just some of the exotic things the U.S. government has been researching.

A massive document dump by the Defense Intelligence Agency shows some of the wild research projects the United States government was, at least, funding through the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program known as AATIP.

And another lesser-known entity called the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program or AAWSAP

The Defense Intelligence Agency has recently released a large number of documents to different news outlets and individuals who have filed Freedom of Information Act requests.

Of particular interest are some 1,600 pages released to Vice News, which ...

The City of Eridu is the Oldest on Earth, It’s Largely Unexplored

As our technology gets better we are discovering more about the history of mankind and pushing the timeline back further and further. The following article is from www.gaia.com and written by Michael Chary that discusses this new find that changes the historical timeline:

"Over the past decade, there have been a number of archeological revelations pushing back the timeline of human evolution and our ancient ancestors’ various diasporas. Initially, these discoveries elicit some resistance as archeologists bemoan the daunting prospect of rewriting the history books, though once enough evidence is presented to established institutions, a new chronology becomes accepted.

But this really only pertains to the era of human development that predates civilization — the epochs of our past in which we were merely hunter-gatherers and nomads roaming the savannahs. Try challenging the consensus timeline of human civilization and it’s likely you’ll be met with derision and rigidity.

Conversely, someone of an alternative...

Gravity is a Lie, Light Speed is Slow, Nothing is Real, the Universe is Electric

Not sure if you have heard of a show on YouTube called "The Why Files". If not you should check it out it is interesting and has some humor with it on different subjects. Last weeks was on a different theory how the Universe works and how main stream Science is attempting to shut it down like is always seems to do if it goes aguest some special interest. Today it is akin to what happened to those who questioned the Earth was the Center of the Universe that main stream so called Science all believed during the Renaissance period, They called any theory that the Earth was not the Center of the Universe misinformation. Does this sound familiar today? People laughed and mocked people like Leonardo da Vinci, Nicolaus Copernicus, Georg Purbach as crack-pots, conspiracy theorists, nut-jobs and they were suppressed and even imprisoned for their radical thoughts and observations. Again it sounds like today in so many ways. In any event this is a good one to ponder and see even if a bad idea ...

The hidden influence of chaos theory in our lives

Seemingly chaotic systems like the weather and the financial markets are governed by the laws of chaos theory.

We all have heard about chaos theory, but if you have not or have forgotten what chaos theory is well here you go from interestingengineering.com:

"Chaos theory deals with dynamic systems, which are highly sensitive to initial conditions, making it almost impossible to track the resulting unpredictable behavior. Chaos theory seeks to find patterns in systems that appear random, such as weather, fluid turbulence, and the stock market.

Since the smallest of changes can lead to vastly different outcomes, the long-term behavior of chaotic systems is difficult to predict despite their inherently deterministic nature.

As Edward Lorenz, who first proposed what became commonly known as the Butterfly Effect, eloquently said, "Chaos: When the present determines the future, but the approximate present does not approximately determine the future.""

You may have heard the term about chaos theory as a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil,...

Is AI better than your doctor? A new study tests the ability of AI to get the right diagnosis

I for one have lost trust in Medical Doctors due to COVID and reflection that they seem to push pills for everything and untested so called vaccines that is using a unproven technology because the Government and the Medical Boards of the State told them to. There are a very few exceptions. Thus they do not address the key problem just prescribe more and more pills to keep you alive an sick longer for them and Big Phama to profit from you. Will AI do any better? Well that depends on what was used for the training of AI. If it also pushes pills and vaccines without question then you have the same problems noted above. However, if the AI Training includes all possible forms of treatment and they zero in on the right issues for the true problem then there is possibilities they would be way better than most of the current Medical Doctors today.

The following is from an article from interestingengineering.com and written by Paul Ratner:

"A new study looks at how accurately AI can diagnose patients. We interview the researcher, who weighs in on AI's role ...
