With the COVID-19 so called vaccine that was said to stop infection and protect you to the use of DDT to cure polio that was recommended as a cure and protection of that disease. Both of the above and many more examples are what I call Pseudoscience where there is little to no scientific evidence to support that claim. This is just like what happened with the so called COVID-19 Vaccine where we are up to what 5 shots and you can still catch and possibly die from COVID. Ideas around the topic may have changed over time as new things are discovered and new research is performed. Pseudoscience tends to be fairly static. Little may have changed since the idea was first introduced and new research might not exist.
Can it be proven false? Falsifiability is a key hallmark of science. This means that if something is false, researchers could prove that it was false. Many pseudoscientific claims are simply untestable, so there is no way for researchers to prove these claims false.
Example
Phrenology is a good example of how a pseudoscience can capture the public attention and become popular. According to the ideas behind phrenology, bumps on the head were thought to reveal aspects of an individual's personality and character. Physician Franz Gall first introduced the idea during the late 1700s and suggested that the bumps on a person's head corresponded to the physical features of the brain's cortex.
Gall studied the skulls of individuals in hospitals, prisons, and asylums and developed a system of diagnosing different characteristics based upon the bumps of a person's skull. His system included 27 "faculties" that he believed directly corresponded to certain parts of the head.
Like other pseudosciences, Gall's research methods lacked scientific rigor. Not only that, any contradictions to his claims were simply ignored. Gall's ideas outlived him and grew wildly popular during the 1800s and 1900s, often as a form of popular entertainment. There were even phrenology machines that would be placed over a person's head. Spring-loaded probes would then provide a measurement of different parts of the skull and calculate the individual's characteristics.
While phrenology was eventually dismissed as a pseudoscience, it did have an important influence on the development of modern neurology. Gall’s idea that certain capabilities were linked to certain parts of the brain led to a growing interest in the idea brain localization, or the notion that certain functions were linked to specific areas of the brain. Further research and observations helped researchers gain a greater understanding of how the brain is organized and the functions of different areas of the brain.

So again look at the most resent event with the so called COVID-19 vaccine. Lets ask the questions above:
1. Consider the purpose. The purpose was at first to protect you and was effective in stopping COVID-19. However, all other research and possible treatments were shutdown for a political narrative. This alone was very anti-science. Science is focused on helping people develop a deeper, richer and fuller understanding of the world and not limiting all the possibilities. In this case what was pushed focused on furthering an ideological agenda that was not based on actual science.
2. Consider how challenges are dealt with. In the COVID case any science or doctor who had evidence that the so called COVID-19 vaccine was not safe or effective was fired, blocked, and denied to present their findings in any format. Also any alternative studies of possible cures were also suppressed and blocked. Science welcomes challenges and attempts to disprove or refute different ideas. Thus if we did follow the Science all ideas, observations, and research would have been welcome. However in the COVID-19 vaccine case this was pseudoscience, that greeted any challenges to its dogma with hostility.
3. Look at the research. In the so called COVID-19 vaccine case where was a small sample size and of which had some disturbing findings and yet the CDC and other Governments pushed this forward. Science is supported by a deep and ever-growing body of knowledge and research. Science does not object to any other research that may oppose the original finding that fosters ideas around the topic that may changed over time as new things are discovered and new research is performed. Pseudoscience tends to be fairly static. Little may have changed since the idea was first introduced and new research might not exist. And with the COVID-19 they are still pushing that the so called vaccine is still "Safe and Effective" thou the body of evidence has proven that the so called COVID-19 vaccine is neither safe nor effective.
4. Can it be proven false? In time most things can be proven false if they do follow the Scientific method that continue to challenge and grow the subject body of knowledge. However, in the so called COVID-19 vaccine case we had our CDC and Governments pushing this as Safe and Effective with little to none evidence. They worked with Social Media and the Press to suppress any other Science that may prove this approach as false. As the body of evidence has grown and looking at the actual body of evidence the so called COVID-19 vaccine has been proven false and is not either Safe nor Effective as the original narrative was provided. Other possible cures are starting to come forward that was suppressed to keep the pseudoscience going of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Now apply the same four questions to everything like masks, or what ever the Government pushes as truth. Question it. Research it. Come to your own conclusion as to if they followed the Scientific Method or was this Pseudoscience pushed as Science. Remember with all the suppression of alternatives for COVID-19 they said "follow the Science" and now we know they did not follow the Science at all or used the Scientific Method in any format.

I for one have lost trust in Medical Doctors due to COVID and reflection that they seem to push pills for everything and untested so called vaccines that is using a unproven technology because the Government and the Medical Boards of the State told them to. There are a very few exceptions. Thus they do not address the key problem just prescribe more and more pills to keep you alive an sick longer for them and Big Phama to profit from you. Will AI do any better? Well that depends on what was used for the training of AI. If it also pushes pills and vaccines without question then you have the same problems noted above. However, if the AI Training includes all possible forms of treatment and they zero in on the right issues for the true problem then there is possibilities they would be way better than most of the current Medical Doctors today.
